Dear Yogis,
Is this enough rain for everyone? It’s times like these
we need to keep our spirits buoyant and our practice steady. Remember
rain is just liquid prana that cleanses the air and refreshes
our world…and that spring is just around the corner.
We’ve attached to this newsletter a STUDENT SURVEY to find
out how best we can serve you. If you’ve got 5 minutes please
complete it and send it back to us (or just come in a little early
and fill out one of the paper copies we have at the studio) and
you will be entered to WIN 3 MONTHS OF UNLIMITED YOGA!
We will be holding an OPEN HOUSE POTLUCK on Saturday, Feb. 11th
starting at 6pm. Please feel free to stop by any time that evening,
bringing friends and food (vegetarian) or beverages (non-alcoholic)
if you like (don’t feel like you must). There will be lots
of tea and cookies and other food as well as familiar and not-so-familiar
yogi faces.
Our BEGINNERS COURSE officially starts on Saturday, Feb 11th
at 4pm (please see the attached schedule) While it is geared towards
beginners anyone with a Prana membership is welcome to attend
and it will be a great review even for experienced students. If
you have friends who are interested in practicing yoga but haven’t
made the leap this is a great way for them to try. $50 for a 10
class pass (valid only for the 10 weeks of the course) or an even
better $80 for a 20 class pass (10 weeks) to be used in tandem
with either the Monday or Thursday 10am class. If you have any
questions about this please just ask Chris or Robyn.
Our amazing SILENT MEDITATION RETREAT will be happening again
on Vancouver Island from March 13th - 19th. Don’t miss this
amazing, rejuvenating week of meditation and cleansing, healthy
food in a natural, peaceful setting. Check our web site for more
details or just call and ask. No experience necessary.
May Yoga Teacher Training (May 15 – June 11)
This May brings us a beautiful retreat centre near Nanaimo, B.C.
Just what forces keep bringing these beautiful places into our
practice we do not know but remain ever thankful. If you or someone
you know is thinking about taking yoga teacher training then have
a look at some of the amazing photo graphs on our web site. Even
if you aren’t planning to attend we recommend teasing yourself
a little with what you will be missing…who knows what the
future may bring?
Best wishes to you in your practice,
