Join shakti for 5 days and 4 nights of peace, tranquility, yoga, and meditation up at the Sea to Sky Retreat Centre. This Centre is on a secluded 40 acre site of extraordinary natural beauty in the mountains near Whistler, B.C.

This June’s yoga retreat with shakti, will focus on the differences between who we are as a human beings and who we are as the higher self. The location is a beautiful and isolated Buddhist retreat centre between Squamish and Whistler. Surrounded by nature, we will experience our higher self and learn about our human nature through the practice of yoga, meditation and spontaneous dialogue. We will also explore a few extraordinary scientific movies and see how the latest 21st century science blends with ancient philosophies and timeless wisdom.

A deep understanding of our nature and the role survival plays in our existence can enlighten us on the source of all our suffering.

When: Friday, June 30th - Tuesday, July 4th, 2006 (Canada Day long weekend) Please arrive between 2-3pm. Make sure you have lunch before as this day we will have dinner only at the retreat. We will be leaving on July 4th after lunch.

7:30am Meditation

8am Yoga class

9:30am breakfast

12pm seminar

2pm lunch

5pm yoga class

6:30pm dinner

7:30 movie



 

Things To Bring:

  • walking shoes
  • meditation shall and/or blanket for relaxation
  • yoga mat
  • notebook and pen
  • comfortable yoga clothes
  • your favorite meditation cushion/bench (if you don't have one let us know)
  • healthy snacks for between meals if you like

Please avoid wearing perfume during the retreat.

Try to disconect yourself from the cellphone for the duration of the retreat.
